Regarding the play:

There is a common belief in our society that only those close to power are patriotic. But we have not developed the habit of seeing where and how the flame of patriotism is burning among the vast population outside the party and power. Yet, how many heroes have been silently oppressed by the rulers in the remote villages, holding patriotism in their hearts - it is happening even today, how many of us keep count of it.

The sixties of the twentieth century are important for many reasons in our land. It was during this time that the demand for democracy and the spirit of secularism were developed. At the same time, the then military rulers spread the poisonous fumes of communalism and wrote a black chapter. People are still burning in that terrible fire - their art, literature and culture. We still have to bear the terrible responsibility for which. My childhood and adolescence were spent in the provincial town. I was deeply immersed in the drama of that time. What else could be left at that age? The lives, deeds, faith, and sacrifices of the godlike actors I saw at that age still burn in my heart. This play is written in the light of that. I have seen actors who have broken the bonds of family, homeless actresses - talented artists rejected by society.

When everyone chanted the words of patriotism under the lamp of the stage, its waves would spread to the politics of democracy and autonomy in the wilderness. However, that light would cause great tragedies in the personal and political lives of many people unnoticed. We could not write its history. This play is made in memory of those patriotic people.
